I still don't know how Iris and Jeannette choose their babies  they all are so cute

I've decided to keep all the burmese boys for breeding, from both Q- and R-litter - and there's only one in Q-litter, a wheaten boy, for Jeannette - so that's why Iris is getting the wheaten from R-litter, haha!
She only had to pick between the choco- and mink burmese, since they're both available for future breeding (and I don't care who gets which boy )

 

I'm planning to keep one of the burmese girls myself - and Ania from Rotta Taivas rattery in Poland is getting a girl as well - she's the breeder of Xena, great-grandmother of the babies (Honorine's mother!)

Sadly, I lost the little baby girl from R-litter 29/03/2019.  Earlier that week, I saw the first symptoms of otitis media (middle ear infection) and I started treatment right away, but I couldn't save her. I'm really upset by this. She was always the smallest (runt of the litter) of course, but now, when she gain up till 100g+, I thought she was out of the 'danger' zone - I guess I was wrong...

 

This is Roxi, only a few hours before she passed away...

 

Bye little baby.. I'm so sorry I couldn't save you.

 

Luckly the other babies don't have any symptoms. I took them to the vet Monday for a check-up, they're all happy and healthy. (I have to bring a veterinairy certificate for the ones that will be exported to Germany, Czech and Poland)
